Members of the “G20 Protestwelle” alliance hold a press conference at the Greenpeace Germany Headquarters in Hamburg. Greenpeace was represented by Sweelin Heuss, Executive Director for Communications and Fundraising. The G20 Protestwelle (Protest wave) is an alliance between civil society organizations including Greenpeace, Campact, BUND, DGB Nord and Mehr Demokratie Hamburg. In the press conference the alliance announces its planned events for July 2nd, which include a march, boat rally and protest banners, to raise awareness on climate and energy as well as social inequality and democracy issues. Hamburg will host the 2017 G20 Summit on 7–8 July. Greenpeace was represented by Sweelin Heuss, Managing Director for Communications and Fundraising.

Gemeinsam kuendigen sie ihre Aktivitaeten fuer die Protestwelle am 2. Juli 2017 an. Geplant sind ein Protestmarsch, Bannermeer und eine Bootsdemo im Vorfeld der G20 Konferenz in Hamburg.
