After the initial press conference in Agrokomplex, the biggest agricultural exposition in Slovakia, Greenpeace activists carry out an activity to expose the use of poisonous pesticides. The activists surprise the Slovak agriculture minister Gabriela Matečná by offering her flowers and bread with honey as a gesture of good will to plead for a ban on the most dangerous neonicotinoids as well as for a decrease in the use of pesticides in the country’s agricultural practices.
