Protesters in front of the National Energy Board’s meeting, where its panel was studying the Energy East Pipeline – a controversial pipeline that would carry tar sands oil from Alberta to the Atlantic coast. People were denouncing the bias of the panel in favour of the TransCanada’s pipeline.
