Ash Pipelines at the NTPC Ltd in Tamil Nadu
Ash pipelines at the NTPC operated Tamil Nadu Energy Company Limited.
Fly ash is pumped through pipes that run from the thermal station into a nearby ash pond, that is in the back yard of Kuruvimedu Village, Vallur. Locals say that when the pond overflows, it seeps into the village leaving behind a layer of ash on the grounds within the village.
