Action against TTIP in Madrid
Interview with GP Spain's Forest campaigner Miguel Ángel Soto. Greenpeace Spain carried out an action on one of the most iconic Spanish buildings to protest against the TTIP. The activists have climbed a building no one has been able to climb before. Six Greenpeace climbers ascended up the south side of one of the two Torres Kio. These buildings located in Madrid, called the Puerta de Europa (Europe’s Door), have been the scenario to protest against the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership negotiations carried out by the European Union and the Unites States. The activists have climbed 80 meters up to display a banner of over 300 square meters.
