Quin Lesowale is a single mother who is hosting a birthday party for her daughter. She says, "Imagine a party in the dark with candles. This was how we celebrated until last year, but today solar has really made this day special for me and my daughter. A single light can change the mood of the all the kids here but we have 4 of them!"
Lesowale says most of the ladies here are single moms and solar has helped them feel secure and independent "We are able to save money for our kids as well. Soon we are gonna get a solar fridge which will be shared by all of us."
