G20 Protest Wave Boat Rally in Hamburg
Members of the “G20 Protestwelle” alliance hold a boat rally on the Alster Lake in Hamburg. The boat rally is the first of a series of events to raise awareness on climate and energy as well as social inequality and democracy issues. The G20 Protestwelle (Protest wave) is an alliance between civil society organizations including Greenpeace, Campact, BUND, DGB Nord and Mehr Demokratie Hamburg. Hamburg will host the 2017 G20 Summit on 7–8 July.
