Residents of the Spessart mountains, members of the citizens' movement "Freunde des Spessarts", and of environmental organizations like Bavarian BUND, LBV, WWF and Greenpeace activists stand up for a national park in the Spessart mountains. They gather in a forest with 200 year-old beech trees and display signs that read: "Our heart beats for a national park in the Spessart Mountains.“
