The Arctic Sunrise is lit by a sudden and brief opening in the clouds. The ship is at anchor for the crew to get some rest, while waiting to continue ROV and 'dropcam' operations the following day. This photograph was made off the western shore of Kvitøya which is the farthest east island of the Svalbard archipelago.
