The need to tackle climate change has become increasingly urgent, as heatwave and drought have clearly shown in recent weeks. The parliament has failed completely so far to take measures: with the forthcoming revision of the CO2 Act, it must finally set the course for phasing out fossil fuels. The climate crisis is already so far advanced that it cannot tolerate any further delay.
