Climate Emergency Action in Sydney - Soundbite
Message from activist Laura while suspended under the bridge in Sydney.
Six Greenpeace activists have climbed the iconic bridge in Sydney and display banners reading “Make Coal History” and “100% Renewables”. The action is to call on Australia’s Prime Minister Scott Morrison to declare a climate emergency instead of throwing fuel on the fire by continuing to support dirty coal mining and coal-fired power stations. The climbers are standing alongside millions of people saying that coal is destroying our climate and polluting our water and air.
