Near the village of Lescout there is a big hen factory farm, currently farming 185,000 hens. At the time of a visit by Greenpeace France, locals like municipal councillor Thomas Drieux expressed their concerns on what according to their calculations is an extraordinary high rate of cancer in the area.

N. was lucky that the tumour did not affect her brain. Even though the malignant disease is healed, N.’s vision remains affected.
