Beluga II Ocean Plastics Tour of Scotland - Extensive Clipreel
Greenpeace has brought its ship the Beluga II on an expedition of scientific research around Scotland, sampling seawater for microplastics and documenting the impact of ocean plastic on some of the UK’s most precious marine life.
Clipreel includes wildlife footage, plastic waste found on Scottish beaches and coasts, manta net sampling for microplastics, the Greepeace ship Beluga II and various interviews (Maggie Sheddan, Senior Bass Rock guide, The Scottish seabird centre; Dr Kirsten Thompson Marine Biologist, Exeter University Greenpeace laboratory; Colin Speedie, Basking shark expert; Louisa Casson, Greenpeace oceans campaigner).
