Scientific Research on Tropical Peatland in the Democratic Republic of Congo
A journalist reading scientific papers about the Congo Basin Expedition. A team from Greenpeace Africa are working with local partners to conduct scientific research in the village of Lokolama, 45 km from Mbandaka. The team aim to identify the presence of tropical peatlands in the region, and to measure its depth.
