“Three Billboards” Action at Pyaterochka Supermarket in Moscow
Three billboards were installed by Greenpeace activists in front of the largest Russian retailer X5 Retail Group (brand "Pyaterochka").
The text on the billboards reads in Russian ”Billions of your plastic bags are poisoning nature. And you still do nothing. How come, Pyaterochka?"
With this action, which makes reference to a popular 2017 drama film, Greenpeace Russia demands supermarkets to stop using single-use plastic bags. Big retailers are responsible for plastic pollution and must change their behavior.
