Coal Delivery Dumped at CommBank’s Sydney Head Office - Clipreel Part 1
A group of people, including a number from coal-affected communities, delivered a load of coal to the front of the Commonwealth Bank’s Harbour Street office in Sydney in order to highlight the consequences of their fossil fuel lending policies.
The coal was placed in front of the main entrance to the building, alongside posters highlighting the impacts of the Commonwealth Bank’s laggard climate policy on community health, the environment, and the global climate.
In the 6 months prior, more than 100,000 people signed a petition calling for CommBank to rule out investment in new coal projects.
