Crane Art Installation Supports Fukushima Survivors at UN in Geneva
A collaborative art installation between Greenpeace Japan and Swiss artist, Sipho Mabona, brings messages of support and solidarity for Fukushima survivors (#Stand4Fukushima) to the doorstep of the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland.
Greenpeace Japan is intervening in the United Nations Human Rights Council's Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of Japan on behalf of Fukushima survivors (particularly women and children). On Thursday 12 October 2017, Ms. Sonoda, a mother and survivor of the Fukushima nuclear disaster testified at the Pre-Session for the UPR.
