Toxics Action against Chlorine Production AKZO in Rotterdam Harbour
Together with the Greenpeace ship Beluga activists block a ship loaded with salt for AKZO in the Rotterdam harbour. They protest against the chlorine production of AKZO. Behind the Beluga lies Chlorientje, an eight meter long plaster baby, tied up an afloat. Chlorientje is the symbol of poisoning of humans by pollution through among others dioxin, one of the most toxic chlorines. The banner reads "Stop Chlorine".
