The residents of Lindau, demonstrated together with Greenpeace, 'dem Basler Apell gegen Gentechnologieproposal', and other organizations against the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule (ETH), which is planning to conduct a release experiment with genetically modified wheat. Around 800 people attended the protest. ETH plans to sow GE wheat on the test site.
