Genetically engineered Canola (oilseed rape) growing wild on roadside where genetically engineered Canadian canola has been imported, Yokkaichi port, Japan. Genetic testing has shown that GE canola has escaped into the wild all along the shipping and transport route of the crop. These herbicide resistant GE Canola plants pose a serious threat of genetic contamination of related crops and weeds.
