Sea Level Rise in India
Nantu Mondal lives in Bali island in the Sundarbans and
is one of the many people affected by sea level rise: "We used to go to the river to catch fish, facing storms, tigers and crocodiles. Now, only four to five years apart the cyclone and floods have started. It has become very difficult to continue to live here. We don't know whether we will be able to stay here. Where will we go?
We have to stay here to save the Sundarbans, and we need to start with more mangrove plantation".

Climate Voices in Indian Sundarbans
The Sundarbans is the largest mangrove forest in the world, a particularly ecologically sensitive area. Scientists estimate that over 70,000 people will be displaced from the Sundarbans due to sea level rise by the year 2030.
