Trawling Documentation in the Pacific Ocean
Crew in a Greenpeace inflatable picking up bycatch discarded from the New Zealand deep sea trawler 'Amaltal Voyager' in international waters in the Tasman Sea. Sometimes it was a race with the albatrosses to pick up the fish. Greenpeace along with more than a thousand scientists are supporting the call for a moratorium on high seas bottom trawling, because of the vast amount of marine life that is destroyed by this fishing method.
