Activists near Spremberg have chained themselves to the train tracks, put up warning yellow crosses and hung a banner from the bridge reading: "Out of brown coal". Swedish and German Greenpeace activists protest against brown coal mining on the transport rails from open pit mine Welzow Sued in Brandenburg. The protest is against the energy production of the Swedish concern Vattenfall, who is destroying the landscape, home of people and climate by mining in the Lausitz.
