Greenpeace’s iconic icebreaker ship the Arctic Sunrise arrives in London on the eve of World Oceans Day, for the final leg of a Europe-wide ‘Gulliver tour’ in support of small-scale sustainable fishermen.The Greenpeace ‘Gulliver tour’ brought the plight of small fishing boats to the attention of the public and key decision-makers across the continent, sparking a huge wave of public support for small-scale fishermen resulting in over 110,000 people signing up to a paper boat petition calling for this sector of the fleet to be given a fairer deal.
