Ana Paula Alminhana Maciel is one of the 'Arctic 30' who are now in custody on a charge of piracy, following a peaceful protest against Arctic oil drilling. Russian authorities say they will soon replace piracy with a charge of hooliganism, punishable by seven years in prison.

The Greenpeace ship Arctic Sunrise is towed into Murmansk port by a Russian Coast Guard vessel following its arrest after a protest against oil drilling operations carried out by Gazprom in the Pechora sea on September 18th.
