Bodies of three dead dolphins recovered from the water by the crew of the Greenpeace ship Esperanza for examination by scientists onboard and later delivery to the Institute of Zoology for full post mortem. The dolphins stomachs are likely to have been slit by fisherman, after getting caught in their nets and drowning, in an effort to make them sink. Greenpeace is currently in the English channel protesting against pelagic pair trawling due to the high numbers of dolphin deaths associated with it.
