Water Patrol Sampling in Thailand
Greenpeace activists collect samples from the Samrong Canal, Bang Pli sub-district, Samut Prakarn province during the 'National Conservation and Improvement of Rivers and Canals Day'. The Greenpeace Water Patrol has been working on protecting Thailand's freshwater sources from toxic chemical pollution since 2007. It has conducted research on hazardous chemicals in various areas along the canals of the Chao Phraya River. Greenpeace calls for a 'zero discharge target' policy to put an end to water pollution.
