Residents of Eyang Village in Cameroon
Residents of Eyang village, 5 km from Nguti village, where Eyong Thomas, head of the Njockebai family, runs the Netapti small-scale palm oil farm. He employs his family and another 8 workers from the village. Their palm oil farm covers 9 hectares of land, is well maintained and very productive, selling to local markets and to other bigger buyers. All 10 members of the family live from the profits of the farm and 3 of their sons are going to university. They also cultivate cocoa, maize and various other types of fruit. They completely sustain themselves and recycle most of the things they use during the production process.
