Climate Rescue Station in Borobudur
Wind turbines generate electricity for the Climate Rescue Station in Lumbini Park in Borobudur, Central Java.
Greenpeace launched the ‘Solarising Borobudur’ project at the World's largest Buddhist Temple, a UNESCO World heritage, by building the Climate Rescue Station - a four-storey spherical structure. The station will stand for two weeks and will be open to the public and used to generate awareness about renewable energy solutions to tackle climate change.
