Climate Rescue Station in Borobudur
Navicula, a Balinese rock band, performs on stage during a cultural event at the Climate Rescue Station at Lumbini Park, in Borobudur, Central Java.
Greenpeace has launched the ‘Solarising Borobudur’ project at the World's largest Buddhist Temple, a UNESCO World heritage, by building the Climate Rescue Station - a four-storey spherical structure. The station will stand for two weeks and will be open to the public and used to generate awareness about renewable energy solutions to tackle climate change.
