Products in a COOP store in Stockholm with Greenpeace label that read: 'Environmental hazard! This product is made of meat raised on genetically modified animal fodder' in Swedish. In September 2003 Greenpeace is suspending a 96 square meter wide banner from the Katarinahissen elevator in Stockholm that reads: "COOP ist lying about the gene food'. This is to point out that Coop, one of the big food chains, despite their claims to offer the best organic selection in Scandinavia, still sell genetically modified food. At the same time other activists, in a COOP store, are labelling genetically modified products.
