The disaster at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant forced farmer Miyoko, her husband and her granddaughter to evacuate to a small apartment in city centre and to stop farming. The farm is located in the emergency evacuation preparation zone 20-30km from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant. It is expected that part of Tamura City in the 20km evacuation zone will be the first community where the government lifts its evacuation order as decontamination by the government is finished.
