Dams Ensuring Water Supply in China
The town of Daliuta in Shenmu County Yulin has been a source of coal mining for the Shenhua Group for many years and has now grown into a city. The Kuye River, a tributary of the Yellow River, often goes dry because of years of coal mining. In order to ensure normal water supply to the town, the Shenhua Group has built a dam along the river to hold water.
