On the last day of 2005, crew of Greenpeace ship MY Esperanza display a New Year's Wish banner, in front of the Yushin maru catcher ship of the whaling fleet from Japan. The banner reads "Stop Whaling." The catcher ship is closely following the Greenpeace ship, which in turn is following the whale fleet factory ship Nisshin Maru. Greenpeace is using every peaceful means available means to bring the hunt to an early end and make it the last time the Sanctuary is breached by the whalers.
