An early morning paddle led by the Squamish, Tseil-Waututh and Musqueam First Nations to heal the waters and send a message to American energy company Kinder Morgan about their tarsands pipeline plans. The First Nations later sign a declaration to protect the Salish Sea, which is located between the south-western tip of the Canadian province of British Columbia, and the north-western tip of the U.S. state of Washington.
