222.000 people in the Netherlands and Europe have signed the petition which is delivered to the Parliament this afternoon by The Sum of Us and Greenpeace.They ask the political parties to forbid the usage of glyphosate one of the components in the herbicide Roundup made by Monsanto. According to the World Health Organization glyphosate can cause cancer. Next week the Second Chamber in the Netherlands will vote about this subject. The Dutch decision can be important for the European policy, earlier this year the EU postponed a decision.
