Leading global climate science, legal, research and policy experts Richard Heede, Geoffrey Supran, Carroll Muffett, Sophie Marjanac and Glenn Hodes will be in Manila to appear as witnesses for petitioners in the third hearing sessions of the investigation into the responsibility of carbon majors for impacts of climate change on rights of Filipino citizens. The National Inquiry on Climate Change (NICC) is being conducted by the Commission on Human Rights of the Philippines (CHR). The hearing sessions will take place August 29-30, 2018 at the Session Hall of the CHR in Quezon City.
