Greenpeace activists in Vienna build an Austrian version of the Climate Rescue Station in front of the office of Werner Faymann, the Chancellor of Austria. During the camp three activists climbed on the balcony of the office and fixed a banner with “Minus 40 % CO2”. Greenpeace is urging the chancellor to speak out for a 40 percent reduction of CO2 for industrialized countries at the United Nations Climate Conference COP15. After an hour police evicted, first the activists on the ground at the Climate Rescue Station, and later the ones on the balcony.
