German rock band Scorpions fly over the Amazon in support of the Greenpeace campaign to end the continued clearing and burning of the rainforests. The band are in Brazil on their ‘Humanity World Tour 2007’. Over the last 40 years the Amazon has lost some 700,000 square kilometers of forests, an area twice the size of Germany.
