Shoot: Climate Smoking Kills Action in Kolkata

GP01HBQ
Greenpeace activists scale a 250-feet chimney of the Kolaghata Thermal Power Station near Kolkata and paint the message "Smoking Kills" on the chimney's surface. Greenpeace is highlighting the threat that excessive coal burning for power generation poses to the climate. Coal is the dirtiest of fossil fuels, leading to three times more CO2 emissions than oil and is responsible for rising global temperatures.
